Bob Sutor on Privacy

Bob Sutor has a good posting on some of the same privacy issues I talked about in my Web 2.0: Issues posting, in more depth and with some different nuances. Worth reading and thinking about.
What is your opinion of parents requiring that social networks, virtual worlds, or games that their children sign up for provide reporting services to the parents? Given we set this sort of thing up for businesses all the time, it would be reasonable to expect it of online systems where children are the target demographic.
