I now am more care\u00adful about wheth\u00ader web\u00adsites have believ\u00adable pri\u00advacy policies before I sign up for them, I have a num\u00adber of free email accounts for the sole pur\u00adpose of get\u00adting news\u00adlet\u00adters or regis\u00adter\u00ading at web\u00adsites, and I more often fig\u00adure the inform\u00ada\u00adtion on these web\u00adsites is unlikely to be worth the effort.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s excit\u00ading though, being part of some\u00adthing that is import\u00adant and where people are real\u00adising the import\u00adance more day by day, sort of like <span class=\"caps\">XML<\/span> in the early days where people start\u00ading say\u00ading, yes I do have that prob\u00adlem and maybe this tech\u00adno\u00adlogy can help solve it. So part of what I hope to do in the com\u00ading year is help the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.projectliberty.org\">Liberty Alli\u00adance<\/a> fig\u00adure out how to help people learn what they need to know about some of these con\u00adcepts, tech\u00adno\u00adlo\u00adgies, and spe\u00adcific\u00ada\u00adtions. Iden\u00adtity man\u00adage\u00adment is start\u00ading to expand bey\u00adond the \u201cin group\u201d now as more people start to real\u00adise the import\u00adance of build\u00ading it (and secur\u00adity) into sys\u00adtems from the begin\u00adning rather than try\u00ading to bolt it on after\u00adwards. Fig\u00adur\u00ading iden\u00adtity out takes time \u2013 iden\u00adtity man\u00adage\u00adment is inher\u00adently com\u00adplex (well, more com\u00adplex than <span class=\"caps\">XML<\/span>, any\u00adway ;-)) and although Ein\u00adstein\u2019s fam\u00adous quote says things should be made as simple as pos\u00adsible, it also says \u201cbut not simpler\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>One of the things that Liberty does to tell people about Liberty-related aspects of iden\u00adtity is to host web\u00adcasts on a reg\u00adu\u00adlar basis.
