The word \u201cCon\u00addi\u00adtion\u201d has under\u00adtones of Vic\u00adtori\u00adan Eng\u00adlish euphem\u00adisms to me, even without the adject\u00adives \u201cdel\u00adic\u00adate\u201d or \u201cinter\u00adest\u00ading\u201d. But I digress\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Our daugh\u00adter is due in June, although say\u00ading \u201cdue\u201d some\u00adhow neg\u00adlects the fact that she reminds me sev\u00ader\u00adal times a day that she\u2019s already present. And act\u00adive. The now-obvi\u00adous bump (pre\u00advi\u00adously winter sweat\u00aders and jack\u00adets did dis\u00adguise it, but not for the last few weeks) is lop\u00adsided, depend\u00ading on which side she\u2019s push\u00ading. Waves of move\u00adment travel across the bump, par\u00adtic\u00adu\u00adlarly after I\u2019ve had cof\u00adfee or chocol\u00adate; our son finds this all fascinating.<\/p>\n<p>In the <span class=\"caps\">FAQ<\/span> cat\u00adegory: We will not be pub\u00adlish\u00ading belly shots; the web does not need pic\u00adtures of me to add to the large num\u00adber of preg\u00adnant womens\u2019 bumps that are already on dis\u00adplay. I\u2019ll take some time off start\u00ading prob\u00adably in May for mater\u00adnity leave, and Tim will be trav\u00adel\u00adling a lot less than usu\u00adal around that time. Pre\u00adcise details will depend on the baby, my health, and all those oth\u00ader unknown factors.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>And no, we haven\u2019t decided on the name yet.
