The cur\u00adrent buzzword of user-cent\u00adric iden\u00adtity led some of us at one of the Liberty Alli\u00adance<\/a> meet\u00adings to dis\u00adcuss actu\u00adally writ\u00ading down and show\u00ading how Liberty spe\u00adcific\u00ada\u00adtions could be used to imple\u00adment user-cent\u00adric iden\u00adtity sys\u00adtems. One of the out\u00adcomes of that dis\u00adcus\u00adsion was a white paper entitled Per\u00adson\u00adal Iden\u00adtity<\/a>, edited by John Kemp<\/a> of Nokia (who, incid\u00adent\u00adally is also a co-author of the book Mobile Web Ser\u00advices : Archi\u00adtec\u00adture and Imple\u00adment\u00ada\u00adtion<\/a>), with lots of input from Paul Mad\u00adsen<\/a> and Car\u00ado\u00adlina Canales Valen\u00adzuela. The oth\u00ader was a demo that Hubert<\/a> wrote (I did the CSS<\/span>, so I con\u00adtrib\u00aduted some\u00adthing con\u00adcrete to the effort along with mor\u00adal sup\u00adport). Hubert wrote up the demo on his blog, at Liberty \u00ef\u00bf\u00bd la InfoCard<\/a> (PDF<\/span> ver\u00adsion of the demo) and A much nicer exper\u00adi\u00adence\u2026<\/a> (which has the flash ver\u00adsion of the demo). Now there\u2019s going to be a Liberty Alli\u00adance web\u00adcast fea\u00adtur\u00ading both John and Hubert talk\u00ading about these issues and show\u00ading the demo. So if you have ques\u00adtions, this would be a good place to find some answers.<\/p>\n

\u201c<\/span>User-cent\u00adric iden\u00adtity\u201d has been the latest descrip\u00adtion-de-jour float\u00ading around in the media, usu\u00adally used to describe \u201cup and com\u00ading\u201d new tech\u00adnic\u00adal offer\u00adings from a vari\u00adety of entit\u00adies. But why wait for future unknowns when it\u2019s already hap\u00adpen\u00ading here and now with Liberty Alli\u00adance spe\u00adcific\u00ada\u00adtions that have found\u00ada\u00adtion\u00adal ele\u00adments of user con\u00adsent and pri\u00advacy? In fact, not only are these spe\u00adcific\u00ada\u00adtions avail\u00adable today, there are products built on them that are also com\u00admer\u00adcially avail\u00adable today.<\/p>\n
