As usu\u00adal, the actu\u00adal pro\u00adcess of <a href=\"http:\/\/codex.wordpress.org\/Upgrading_WordPress\">upgrad\u00ading<\/a> was simple and mostly just worked; I use <span class=\"caps\">WS-FTP<\/span> Pro to trans\u00adfer files and it tends to kill the per\u00admis\u00adsions but a couple of minutes with <em>chmod<\/em> soon fixed that. Of course it took longer to backup the old files from the 1.5.2 install\u00ada\u00adtion first than to upgrade, for which I am grate\u00adful. Please let me know of any prob\u00adlems; I don\u2019t expect any, but you nev\u00ader&nbsp;know.<\/p>\n<p>Changes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The <a href=\"http:\/\/codex.wordpress.org\/Using_Image_and_File_Attachments\">image upload<\/a> sys\u00adtem now appears a little more stream\u00adlined and has more options. I\u2019ll find out more about how it works next time I try it&nbsp;out.<\/li>\n<li>I activ\u00adated the data\u00adbase backup plu\u00adgin, since I\u2019ve been using phpmy\u00adad\u00admin up till now and mak\u00ading it easi\u00ader might mean I backup a little more&nbsp;often<\/li>\n<li>I\u2019m try\u00ading out the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.duechiacchiere.it\/wp-slimstat\/\">Slim\u00adStat<\/a> plu\u00adgin to give me some idea of what people are read\u00ading on my site.
