It\u2019s easy to update the con\u00adtent, easy to add more con\u00adtent, and although some thought needs to go into the design of the site, it\u2019s still a much more reas\u00adon\u00adable under\u00adtak\u00ading than more \u201ctra\u00addi\u00adtion\u00adal\u201d ways of cre\u00adat\u00ading a com\u00admer\u00adcial web site. Which enables even small com\u00adpan\u00adies to under\u00adtake the task, although it\u2019s still some\u00adtimes a little nerve-wrack\u00ading for those who aren\u2019t embed\u00added in the com\u00adputer&nbsp;world.<\/p>\n<p>Recently I man\u00adaged to con\u00advince Mair\u00adin, who runs the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.diannemillerpilates.com\/\">Dianne Miller Pil\u00adates Cen\u00adter<\/a>, where I do Pil\u00adates on a reg\u00adu\u00adlar basis, that the web site needed updat\u00ading, and that blog soft\u00adware would be the right way to do it. Then I put her in touch with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kimadamsonsharpe.com\/\">Kim<\/a> who did the actu\u00adal work of installing <a href=\"http:\/\/wordpress.org\/\">Word\u00adPress<\/a>, installing some use\u00adful plu\u00adgins, pick\u00ading a reas\u00adon\u00adable selec\u00adtion of themes, then tweak\u00ading the chosen theme and plu\u00adgins to make the site look just right. We both helped teach the people doing the con\u00adtent how to enter the data. And now the site is live, has been for a couple of months, and it\u2019s made life at the stu\u00addi\u00ado\u2019s recep\u00adtion a whole lot easi\u00ader. People can find out what the stu\u00addio teaches, what the philo\u00adsophy is, and then call to get more per\u00adson\u00adal\u00adized inform\u00ada\u00adtion, where pre\u00advi\u00adously the recep\u00adtion\u00adists had to explain again and again all the basics on the&nbsp;phone.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s so easy for those of us in the soft\u00adware busi\u00adness to get car\u00adried away with the new\u00adest and greatest and for\u00adget just how much an applic\u00ada\u00adtion of even rel\u00adat\u00adively simple soft\u00adware, where the basic prin\u00adciples have been around for ages, can help.
