Unfor\u00adtu\u00adnately I had to leave early, but I was impressed at what I saw. The centre is run by <a href=\"http:\/\/mdm.gnwc.ca\/?q=executive_director\">Dr. Gerri Sin\u00adclair<\/a>, whom I\u2019ve known for some time, and she\u2019s obvi\u00adously had a lot of fun put\u00adting togeth\u00ader a pro\u00adgram that not only teaches about digit\u00adal media, but teaches worth\u00adwhile pro\u00adject tech\u00adniques such as per\u00adso\u00adnas and agile development.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m curi\u00adous as to what sorts of jobs the stu\u00addents will end up in, par\u00adtic\u00adu\u00adlarly for those who go to what one could call less cut\u00adting-edge com\u00adpan\u00adies, and how they will fare. The pro\u00adgram is still new, but I think it has the poten\u00adtial to do a lot of good in com\u00adpan\u00adies, giv\u00aden the focus that I saw on mak\u00ading the tech\u00adno\u00adlo\u00adgies appeal to the ulti\u00admate users.
