I took it up again about 3 years ago and, due in no little part to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.xmlgrrl.com\/blog\/\">Eve<\/a>\u2019s encour\u00adage\u00adment, am going to start show\u00ading off some of what I\u2019ve done and am doing. Maybe blog\u00adging will even encour\u00adage me to fin\u00adish things soon\u00ader \u2014 I tend to do most of a piece but not get around to fin\u00adish\u00ading it for some&nbsp;time.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/images\/my5443.jpg\"><img align=\"right\" src=\"\/images\/my5443_thumb.jpg\" alt=\"my version of 5443\"><\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.royalyarns.com\/ptrn\/SYR\/Inspiration75\/m5443.html\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/images\/m5443.jpg\" alt=\"pattern view of 5443\" align=\"left\"><\/a> All that being said, here\u2019s my first blog entry on the sub\u00adject of crafts, my ver\u00adsion of item 5443 in a pat\u00adtern book called Inspir\u00ada\u00adtion 75. One would think that a book that calls itself \u201cinspir\u00ada\u00adtion\u201d could come up with inspired names for the pat\u00adterns with\u00adin it, rather than just num\u00adbers. In the book the top looks like the image on the left  (note the link leads to an online retail\u00ader for the pat\u00adtern books and yarn; I have no idea wheth\u00ader they\u2019re any good or not but they did have all the images). Instead of the recom\u00admen\u00added yarn, I used <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wiseneedle.com\/yarndetail.asp?id=4257\">Schoeller\u00ad\u2019s Micro-Cabl\u00e9<\/a> in col\u00adour 23 (yet anoth\u00ader unin\u00adspired name). The link there is to <em>Wise Needle<\/em>, a great site if you want to fig\u00adure out which yarns to sub\u00adsti\u00adtute for that hard-to-find yarn from Europe.
