It worked fine, except for one prob\u00adlem \u2014 the digit\u00adizer kept drift\u00ading, and I had to recal\u00adib\u00adrate it every couple of days. Even\u00adtu\u00adally the screen star\u00adted to cycle con\u00adtinu\u00adously on an inter\u00admit\u00adtent basis. I tried the <a href=\"http:\/\/kb.palmone.com\/SRVS\/CGI-BIN\/WEBCGI.EXE?New,kb=PalmSupportKB,CASE=obj(24443),ts=Palm_External2001\">tips<\/a> on the Palm web site, which did\u00adn\u2019t fix the prob\u00adlem. So, since it was still with\u00adin the one year war\u00adranty peri\u00adod, I called Palm support.<\/p>\n<p>I had to fax in cop\u00adies of my pur\u00adchase receipts (note to self: be glad you prin\u00adted those out!) and call back a couple of days later when they had the inform\u00ada\u00adtion attached to my file. Then I spoke to a tech\u00adni\u00adcian, told him I\u2019d tried the tips on the web site, and the rest was rel\u00adat\u00adively pain\u00adless (apart from the $30 it cost to ship the old one to Ontario from Van\u00adcouver). A week later (I chose the slow ship\u00adping option, which is why it was *only* $30), I had a brand-new Tung\u00adsten <span class=\"caps\">T3<\/span>, which actu\u00adally seems a lot bet\u00adter. Full kudos to Palm for stick\u00ading to their word and repla\u00adcing the defect\u00adive Tung\u00adsten without quibbles, and with a bet\u00adter ver\u00adsion as well!
